Marvyn Singer, MD

Mervyn Singer, MB BS, MD, FRCP (Lon), FRCP (Edin), FFICM, is Professor of Intensive Care Medicine and Director of the Bloomsbury Institute of Intensive Care Medicine at University College London, UK, since 2001. He was Senior Investigator at the National Institute of Health Research from 2009 to 2017 and is currently the Sepsis Topic Advisor for NICE. Dr Singer was Co-chair of the Sepsis-3 Consensus Task Force and lead author of "The Third International Consensus Definitions for Sepsis and Septic Shock (Sepsis-3).
